We are looking for a senior NodeJS developer to join our software development team! We build goal-driven working software and we want essential people to be part of our growing team and to work with us on inspiring projects.

🧠 About The Project
Our client is taking the health application market by storm! Work with top tier global brands over 190 countries implementing the software that helps improve more than 10M people's lives. We are contributing to building a software platform that implements the necessary logic to handle health, fitness and wellbeing challenges. You will be a part of an interdisciplinary team facing challenges that range from implementing microservices that serve the applications, payment systems, reporting, etc.. of a service that is already live, and handling several millions of users. Our client has several systems written in NodeJS and NextJS, the stack used in the project is NodeJSt, complementary experience in other stacks will be highly valued!
Main requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in computer science, software engineering or similar
- 7+ years of backend development experience
- Experience in NodeJS
- Experience in GCP
- Experience in NextJS
- Experience in Firebase
- Experience working with Docker
- Experience with DDD
- DevOps knowledge
- Know how to work with CI & TDD
- Agile Methodologies
- Experience in Test Driven Development and unit testing
- Strong knowledge of SOLID principles
- Strong knowledge in object-oriented programming concepts (polymorphism, interface segregation, encapsulation, topology, etc)
- Understanding of refactoring concepts
- Be experienced in working on Linux
- Fluent speaking Spanish and English
- Based in Spain
Highly valued:
- Functional coding experience
- Experience with gRPC
- Experience with DDD architecture
🎯 What will you do?
- Propose conceptual approaches to solve problems or improve performance.
- Participate in architectural meetings.
- Participate in meetings to discuss the implementation approach of features.
- Hands on – Implement the necessary logic and APIs to feed the client applications or communicate with other services.
- Manage your time and tasks to push the sprints forward – raise your hand upon any shortcoming.
- Contribute to design Continuous Integration / Deploy pipelines.
- Communicate effectively and responsibly in an Agile environment.
