Situation
Synergie needed to create a web based time tracking system for reporting where and when its users begin and end their job journey.
Goals
Synergie needed our development to be done in an existing React codebase application. For so, we first analyzed the previous work in order to understand their standards, maximize code reuse and avoid differing from their in-house code style. Once done, we had to develop the UI with their components and styles, and a lightweight layer for tracking browser’s geolocation data whenever the app user begins / ends the journey.
technologies used
React, Typescript.
Results
A time tracking system using browsers Geolocation API in an existing React codebase all with tight deadline.
Challenges
- Understand Synergie codebase.
- React time tracker development with geolocation.
What we did
- Creating a time tracking system
- Implement Geolocation API in an existing React codebase
