This month I have written an article about promising startups in Barcelona to watch and it was a success, I received a lot of messages, comments, likes and shares and therefore I decided to come up with the list of interesting and innovative tech startups on a global scale. I really hope you will like it!

I reviewed many sited like Techcrunch, startups.co.uk and many others and I am pretty sure that these ones are the most promising and fast growing startups that you should keep an eye on:

Zalando – one of the best e-commerce tech startups. German e-commerce maintains a cross-platform online store that sells shoes, clothing and other fashion items and really shows how to grow from a startup to a leading fashion e-tailer with 796 million euros in Q1 2016 alone. In order to connect people and fashion both online and offline, their team creates ideas and develops innovative solutions that bring all the different players in the fashion business together and continually improve customer’s shopping experience. HeadBox is the network for booking creative and inspiring spaces in London and beyond. It is an online marketplace for cool and offsite spaces, enabling guests to instantly search, book and pay all in one place. The service offers spaces for a range of needs including co-creation workshops, brainstorms, meet-ups, product and business launches, company meetings and get-togethers, as well as research, training and photography shoots. HeadBox charges the host 10% for every transaction and is completely free for guests. 15. SNAPTRIP

Snaptrip is online destination for last-minute holiday rentals in the UK. The online marketplace enables users to book spontaneous, last-minute getaways to more than 40,000 self-catering properties in the UK for up to 50% off the original price. Results can be filtered by destination, amenities and whether they allow pets or not, so holidaymakers can find something that exactly suits their needs. The company takes a commission on the value of every sale, which is structured so that the closer the booking is to departure the greater the commission.

16. ARTFINDER

Artfinder is the online marketplace connecting artists with art lovers around the world. It acts as a gallery of all the famous art in the world, enabling people to buy posters of the work they liked. This company was inspired to be launched because owners saw around “eight million starving artists in the world” and many more people who don’t think they could afford art. So the aim of artfinder is to connect these “starving artists” with art lovers all over the world. Charging a 30% commission on every sale, today the platform has more than 500,000 users globally; selling everything from paintings and printmaking to sculpture and digital art.

17. APPEAR HERE

Appear Here is an award winning platform for booking short-term retail space. This online marketplace allows users to easily book short-term retail space at key locations across London, Paris and New York, taking a 15% transaction fee for every booking. Their mission is to create a world where anyone, anywhere can find space for their ideas. Over 60,000 industry leading brands, designers and creative entrepreneurs are using Appear Here to find and book retail space. The e-commerce app lets users swipe through personalised fashion suggestions curated by human stylists and buy with two taps. Its system integrates easily with existing online stores, including ASOS, Topshop and Zara.
