We are looking for a QA engineer on a full-time basis to work on various projects for a fast-growing, technology company offering services in the field of delivery logistics.We love what we do and by constantly pushing our limits by creating innovative delivery models using technology. That’s what we need you for! The platform we are building consists of an API for customers to submit orders, numerous web applications to manage and track orders, several mobile/tablet apps for drivers and server-based algorithms for effective routes and handling of the orders. Our technologies are .NET, MS SQL, Microsoft Azure.
Responsibilities
- Constantly assure and improve quality for particular services with manual testing activities and managing the improvements in automation area.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities for these services.
- Track quality assurance metrics.
- Execute all necessary test activities for new development.
- Perform thorough regression testing (manual and automated tests).
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Create/update detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test documentation.
- Design, prepare test cases for automation on different levels.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
- Monitor debugging process results.
- Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
- Be proactive, open minded, well communicating team member.
Requirements
- Min. 1,5 years of experience as QA Engineer.
- Work experience in software development in Agile process.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes (testing pyramide, test design techniques).
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation (for manual & test automation).
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools or writing test automation solution.
- Good understanding of API based integration i.e. REST, XML, Microservices etc.
- Be a confident user of Postman, Azure, SQL or similar tools/technologies.
- Delivery domain knowledge would be a plus.
- Fluent English and good communication skills is a must.
- Willingness to experiment and learn in order to improve quality and move the product forward.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Interested to develop yourself into automation testing.
